I stand corrected, I took that cat photo on May 28, 2005, while on a weekend trip to Zamami Island to do some camping/snorkeling/etc.

– Glenn Beck, The Glenn Beck Program, October 27, 2010 (Longer Transcript Here), speaking about The Machine of Death, the self-published book that features the illustration I posted here on Tuesday, by Ryan North, David Malki, along with me and a whole host of my friends and awesome creators, which...

New (additional) tumblr!
I decided to make a ‘what am I eating’ photoblog. So if anyone is curious as to what I eat… Uh, it’s here.

My 1-hour nap turned into a 6-hour nap.
Oops.
Running
I don’t know how to link my dailymile to my tumblr and honestly I probably don’t need to spam all my workouts on here anyway, but I wanted to mention that I did my usual Monday run today; a half mile warmup (and cooldown), with 2 miles worth of intervals; fast-then-slow for 0.2mi each.
I stretched out really well beforehand and I was really able to open up my stride on the first...
I was going to go to bed early tonight but then I started rereading Dune and now it’s past 12:30.
Oops.
About 90 minutes ago I got an email; somebody had sent me a message on togetherweserved.com, which is a facebook-y website for military and veterans. I wondered who it was; I had never heard of this random Hospital Corpsman before. I wondered if it was spam or something.
It so happens that I maintain the profile of a friend, a fellow navigator who moved to the reconnaissance community after...
Raaaaaage
My major requires 134 credit hours to graduate. I also need to take 12 hours of foreign language because of a (stupid) Illinois state requirement. Now word has come out that NONE of those hours will count in any way towards my 134-hour requirement. In essence I have to take 146 credit hours. You know what that’s called?
A FUCKING MASTER’S DEGREE at practically any other...
So I guess after a brief week-and-a-half of “dating” I am now single again. Man, all I want is a cool cute girl. That is like all I’m after. You have issues? I’m okay with that. As long as that issue is not “I don’t want to be in a relationship with anybody,” anyway.
Whatever, things will work out. Or I’ll die alone in a shanty full of empty...
Today the President sent his budget to Congress. In it, he cut pretty much all funding for future manned spaceflight programs through NASA.
So my question now is, why the fuck do I care about becoming an aerospace engineer, if I can’t have that progression to military test pilot and then to astronaut?
In other news, goodnight moon. We won’t be back any time soon. Hope you know...

The great thing about homework
is that my dislike of it makes me do other productive stuff instead. My apartment is approaching levels of cleanliness/organization that it has not seen in months.
I’m in a weird place right now.
Darn you, brain
I had a super vivid, weird dream last night and now all I can remember about it is that I had a super vivid, weird dream. I ought to start writing these things down.
Another day, another “oh I woke up at noon again.”
Head...hurts...
Haven’t had any caffeine in two days; my body is complaining. Bleh.

I’m cooking a dozen brown-and-serve rolls and they are coated with butter and I’m gonna eat ‘em and none of you can stop me.
NONE OF YOU.
Three semesters down and five to go.
I’m sitting here wondering what the heck I should do for the next month.
